With 17 separate markets and 2,500 shops, it is the world’s largest flea market and a unique Parisian treasure where fun and adventure are bound to be had provided you can find your way around it! The tour gets under way at 10.45 sharp. As the group gathers, the guide presents the history of the market, how it started and why it is located where it currently is. You then walk through the trinket stalls on your way to the antiques market, while the guide gets to know the visitors so as to tailor the tour to their particular interests - do they want to shop or just to stroll and look? Jewellery, clothing, paintings, cooking utensils or old posters, what kind of objects are they looking for?
